Well, I get emails almost daily demanding the third cuckoo book, and I can happily confirm that’s the next book to be completed.
It’s well underway and coming on nicely – or maybe not nicely, we all know Sarah Pemberton, it’s never going to be a ‘nice’ book, we can’t have that now can we?
Here’s a little taster.
Well it’s now 1999, Sarah Pemberton is a little older, a little wiser, and perhaps a little less hot-headed. (Sorry I wrote that with my fingers crossed.) Okay, maybe not wiser or less hot-headed, but definitely older.
After finally finding a way to make the old hotel pay for itself by renting it out to ghost hunters – despite the fact that it is not actually haunted, it looks like things are finally looking up for Sarah and Matthew….. That is until an unwelcome visitor turns up on the doorstep with a proposition. “The enemy of my enemy is my friend,” Neil insists, upon his release from prison. He allies himself with Sarah to take down his mother Penelope once and for all as she tries to ruin Neil’s life and to slap a compulsory purchase order on Sarah’s ancestral home.
The gloves are off and it’s time for a showdown.
